Delivery POLICY
The terms and conditions of my delivery service.
I send pieces out in the way I would love to receive them! My goal is for your pieces to be delivered as quickly, securely and sustainably as possible.
The terms and conditions which apply to all deliveries from and to Jewellery Box d'un Petit Cœur are outlined below.
Time Frame
I personally arrange all deliveries and send out items within 1–5 working days, unless I’ve stated otherwise (such as when I’m away, which I’ll make clear on the homepage). If you’re unsure, please feel free to get in touch. If you’re in a hurry, let me know — I’ll do my best to send your order as quickly as possible at no extra charge.
Service
The services offered to you at the checkout are all using the French postal service (apart from the collection in Paris option). The postal service I use, for all orders over 100€, is the Colissimo service from La Poste. It is tracked, insured and requires a signature. For small sized items under 100€, the parcel can be sent as a tracked letter with La Poste but does not require a signature. For signed for parcels, if you live at an address where it is possible for someone you don't trust to sign for your parcel, then please contact me to see if we can find a safer delivery option. Once the postal service marks an item as delivered in their tracking system, responsibility for the parcel passes to the purchaser. Jewellery Box d'un Petit Cœur cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen items that are marked as delivered.
Express or Courier Options
If you prefer to have your item shipped using a courier or you are in a hurry then it is sometimes possible to arrange express or courier shipping. Contact me for a quote and more details.
Collection in Paris
If you live in Paris, it is possible to arrange a personal drop off. I am always very happy to meet my clients. Delivery time frame will be dependent on my availability.
Packaging
My aim is to present beautiful wrapped items which represent the Jewellery Box d'un Petit Cœur as well as provide practical and safe packaging for delivery. I believe it is so important to consider the environment which is why everything included is designed to be kept, reused, recycled or composted. Where possible, I use reclaimed or already recycled materials. Please read my sustainability policy for further details.
Lost or Damaged Items
If your order hasn’t arrived within 3 weeks of receiving your shipping confirmation, please get in touch so I can open an inquiry with the postal service. Delays can happen, but in most cases your parcel is still on its way. I’ll keep you updated throughout and work with you to resolve things as quickly as possible.
If your parcel, packaging, or item arrives damaged, please take clear photos and contact me straight away with the details. If your delivery looks like it’s been tampered with, please do not accept it. Instead, follow the postal service’s guidance and let me know right away.
At Jewellery Box d’un Petit Coeur, I’ll always do my best to make sure you’re happy with the outcome in the rare event of loss or damage.
Uncollected Items
If your item is held at a collection point after a failed delivery and is returned to me because it was not collected, you may choose to have it re-sent. In that case, you will need to cover the full cost of re-delivery and the original delivery cost will be non-refundable. If you decide not to have the item re-sent, I will issue a refund for the item price only, minus the actual postage costs incurred for both the original delivery and the return.
Returns
If you’d like to return an item, please contact me first so I know to expect it. All returns should be sent using a tracked and signed-for service, and I’ll need the tracking number and proof of purchase. Please return the item with its original internal packaging and in the same condition it arrived. Use sturdy outer packaging to keep it safe in the post but you can use the original outer packaging if it’s still in good condition. The cost of return shipping is your responsibility. I recommend using an insured service for valuable items, as I cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit. Refunds will only be issued once the item has safely arrived and been checked. Refunds include the cost of the item, minus any shipping charges you paid for the original delivery. Please refer to my returns Policy for full details.
Customs Charges
For deliveries outside the EU, customs fees, duties, or taxes may apply. These charges are the responsibility of the purchaser. Orders shipped to the USA have their duties prepaid, which are already included in the shipping costs. For all other international destinations, duties and customs fees are not included and may be charged separately by your country’s customs office upon delivery. When returning items internationally, please clearly mark the parcel as a return to help avoid additional fees. If I am charged for duties on a returned item, the amount will be deducted from your refund. It is your responsibility to check your country’s customs procedures before placing an order.
