About This Piece
A French mid 19th century navette cluster ring set with a central rose cut marquise shaped garnet surrounded by a further ten round rose cut garnets. Each held in its own neat foil backed setting.
The wired collet system of the central marquise shaped rose cut and the foil backed gemstones indicates handmade French regional work; this particular style is most associated with the Perpignan commune. The decorative scroll like shoulders frame the cluster design beautifully. The piece has been crafted from 18ct gold
