What is it?
An antique French "saint-esprit" pendant from the 19th century. The symbol, the "saint-esprit" represents the holy spirit; the symbol was used throughout  France during the 19th century and different regions were associated with different variations of the design. In this example, the dove is holding a heart in its beak and has beautiful chased feather details to its wings, back and tail. It is also set with a vivid green paste

    Good antique condition. One wing has a split wear it meets the body at the back. This piece is otherwise in beautiful condition with crisp chased details. The jump ring bail has been added to make this piece wearable as a pendant

What a joy to be in Paris and find the perfect gift for a 40th wedding anniversary. I had my heart set on an opal solitaire, preferably vintage design, and found exactly that. The ring even fit, no sizing needed. Rebecca is a pleasure to work with, and I enjoyed the chance to meet her. I found the ring browsing online and would have ordered it from home (the USA) had we not been within a couple of miles of each other in Paris.
