A adorable antique French ring dating to the years transitioning from the 19th to 20th century. This ring is a beautiful example of the use of green and rose gold to create pieces with naturalistic imagery that we see in French jewellery from this time period; the main body of the ring and setting are a rosey hue with four leafy details, pointing north, east, south and west, in a subtle greenish yellow gold. At the centre is a star set half natural seed pearl

What a joy to be in Paris and find the perfect gift for a 40th wedding anniversary. I had my heart set on an opal solitaire, preferably vintage design, and found exactly that.
