About the piece
A pair of antique French subtle warm rose coloured gold créoles with a simple hoop design decorated with graduated spherical beads along the lower edge. The beads are soldered directly onto the hoop, creating a neat, sculptural detail without making the earrings more likely to catch. A small triangular wire loop sits at the centre of the top of each hoop, adding another interesting detail to the design.
The original construction gives these earrings a lovely sense of age, while their simple shape makes them wonderfully easy to wear. A great example of a French icon with a more detail and more history than a classic gold hoop.
