    Condition

    Good antique condition with some signs of age and wear. The heart fronts show multiple split edges at the junctions between the front panel and side sections. The dormeuse fittings function very well

What a joy to be in Paris and find the perfect gift for a 40th wedding anniversary. I had my heart set on an opal solitaire, preferably vintage design, and found exactly that. The ring even fit, no sizing needed. Rebecca is a pleasure to work with, and I enjoyed the chance to meet her. I found the ring browsing online and would have ordered it from home (the USA) had we not been within a couple of miles of each other in Paris. Her knowledge of fine jewelry is evident, and she could not have been more thorough or courteous. I had my jeweler take a look when I got home, and he said it's an amazingly fine gem, no damage at all, rare in vintage opals because they're "softer" than most stones and require conscientious care. This one will get just that. Thanks Rebecca!
