About This Piece
A beautiful original Art Nouveau piece crafted, in France over 100 years ago, from buttery yellow 18ct gold with green gold details, typical of this period. The garland design is created through the use of this green gold and through detailed engraving; it is elegant and feminine. It features a trio of set stones with a central rose cut ruby and a tiny split seed pearl each side

This piece has a French eagle head mark for 18ct gold on the inner lip of the locket
Condition
The front section, the bail, jump ring and mechanism are all in very good antique condition with some minor indications of wear. The back section has suffered some previous damage. It has been straightened out again and the locket opens and closes well as well as keeps its original shape. However, there are visible surface imperfections to the back of the locket left from the previous damage
