A beautifully detailed engraved pattern band with repeated faceted pattern around the ring and contrasting vertical stripes. This French piece is crafted from 18ct yellow gold and has a lovely flat form with good thickness to the band making it great to stack

    This piece has a French eagle head mark for 18ct gold.

    There is a maker's mark which reads "Ets GIRARD" with the music symbol natural. This is likely a match for Etablissements Girard, active from 1962. For more details click here and look under the GI section

What a joy to be in Paris and find the perfect gift for a 40th wedding anniversary. I had my heart set on an opal solitaire, preferably vintage design, and found exactly that. The ring even fit, no sizing needed. Rebecca is a pleasure to work with, and I enjoyed the chance to meet her. I found the ring browsing online and would have ordered it from home (the USA) had we not been within a couple of miles of each other in Paris.
