About This Piece
An antique 19th century French locket in 18ct gold. The large oval locket is decorated with a central floral design, each of the three flowers centred with a natural pearl. This design is framed by facetted details which sparkle and twinkle with movement as the surface of the locket catches the light. The top and bottom includes naturalistic textured garlands with "tréfle" or clover motifs

This piece has the French eagle head mark 18ct gold. It has been stamped three times; to the top ring and to the inner frame of the locket twice
Condition
Great antique condition with some indications of wear and age. This locket does not have glass or inserts. The top garland appears to have been slightly altered. It is symmetric and the design flows beautifully
