French Art Nouveau Heart Circular Pendant with Green Gold Ivy Details
About This Piece
A beautiful French antique piece from the years of the Art Nouveau period. This pendant was crafted from both yellow and green 18ct gold, for the main body of the piece is in yellow and the ivy details are suitable in green. Ivy is often associated with friendship and loyalty due to its evergreen nature. The disc shape has a slim puffed profile and is empty inside, however, it is a closed design and does not open.

What a joy to be in Paris and find the perfect gift for a 40th wedding anniversary. I had my heart set on an opal solitaire, preferably vintage design, and found exactly that. The ring even fit, no sizing needed. Rebecca is a pleasure to work with, and I enjoyed the chance to meet her. I found the ring browsing online and would have ordered it from home (the USA) had we not been within a couple of miles of each other in Paris. Her knowledge of fine jewelry is evident, and she could not have been more thorough or courteous. I had my jeweler take a look when I got home, and he said it's an amazingly fine gem, no damage at all, rare in vintage opals because they're "softer" than most stones and require conscientious care.
