French Art Nouveau Heart Pendant with Green Gold Four Leaf Clover
About This Piece
A beautiful antique piece from the years of the Art Nouveau period. This heart pendant was crafted, in France over 100 years ago, from buttery yellow 18ct gold, for the main body of the piece, with a four leaf clover applied in 18ct green gold. At the centre a modern paste crystal has been added to bring this piece back to its former glory. The heart has a slim profile and is empty inside, however, the it is a closed design and does not open.

What a joy to be in Paris and find the perfect gift for a 40th wedding anniversary. I had my heart set on an opal solitaire, preferably vintage design, and found exactly that. The ring even fit, no sizing needed. Rebecca is a pleasure to work with, and I enjoyed the chance to meet her. I found the ring browsing online and would have ordered it from home (the USA) had we not been within a couple of miles of each other in Paris. Her knowledge of fine jewelry is evident, and she could not have been more thorough or courteous. I had my jeweler take a look when I got home, and he said it's an amazingly fine gem, no damage at all, rare in vintage opals because they're "softer" than most stones and require conscientious care.
