What is it? 
A French filigree link silver chain "ancienne" from the first part of the 20th century. This piece would have originally served as a watch chain. It has had a new vintage style swivel clasp added as well as two jump rings to make it wearable as a short length necklace

    Condition

    Very good vintage condition with some expected wear and signs of age to links.  The swivel clasp is a new addition as well as the two jump rings it is linked to either side

What a joy to be in Paris and find the perfect gift for a 40th wedding anniversary. I had my heart set on an opal solitaire, preferably vintage design, and found exactly that.
