About This Piece
This is a lovely example of a ring that shows that transition from the softness of designs from the early years of the 20th century into the more bold of the Art Deco period. This antique French ring features a double halo of stones that surround the elongated central soft pinkish red marquise cut paste; the first is a simple entourage of rose cut diamonds and the second alternates between more rose cuts and tiny marquise cut paste stones. The piece has been crafted from 18ct two-tone white and yellow gold with millegrain details to enhance the sparkle
