About This Piece
A pair of sweet small sized antique "dormeuses" French earrings. They are crafted from two-tone 18ct gold; the main body is a subtle rose colour and every other point to the star shape is decorated with green gold. Green gold is rare and is strongly associated with this time period in French jewellery. The shape is reminiscent of both an eight point star and a flower. the centres are set each with a half faux pearl. This traditional "dormeuses" style earring enters from the back of the ear piercing
