This piece has a French owl mark for 18ct gold, used on second hand pieces which previously had no French guarantee mark

Condition -

Very good vintage condition with signs of age and use. The opal is set in a protective rub-over setting and shows fine surface abrasion consistent with age, giving a softened lustre. Two stones (one diamond and one white stone) are likely later additions as they are different cuts, both are also vintage

This piece can be worn regularly, with care

Remove this piece for activities where it may be knocked or caught. Clean gently with warm soapy water to prevent a build-up of dirt. Store carefully to avoid damage or loss.

Opals benefit from careful wear and should be kept away from harsh chemicals and protected from impact to preserve lustre and stability.
