This piece has the French crab mark for silver and is also stamped "sterling silver". There is a losange shaped French maker's mark

Condition

Very good vintage condition with some indications of wear, age and repair. Some marcasites have been reset. There is a small repair to the decorative silverwork, visible on close inspection

This piece can be worn daily, with care

Remove this piece for activities where it may be knocked or caught. Clean gently with warm soapy water to prevent a build-up of dirt. Store carefully to avoid damage or loss.

Marcasite jewellery should be handled with care and protected from knocks, as the small stones can become dislodged if subjected to impact.
