French 19th Century Blue Enamel Acorn and Oak Leaf Large"Dormeuses" Earrings

Mid to late 19th century

18ct gold, marked
Measurements -
22.4mm height, 12.8mm width, 10mm hook depth - approx

They are both stamped with a crisp French eagle head mark for 18ct gold. There is also a French maker's stamp which reads "L & J" with a star at the top and a brace symbol underneath
Condition -
Good antique condition. There is some expected wear to one of the pair's enamel and also to one rivet, which appears to have been reinforced. There is a clear coating to the back of one earring, potentially from a previous enamel restoration, this is hardly visible and only seen at the back when studied closely
